Preface

“Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. For you were once in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness and truth, finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them” (Ephesians 5: 6-11).

The year 2020 brought the mortal threat of the Coronavirus pandemic to the world and, furthermore, an explosive manifestation of violence and social unrest throughout the United States and the nations of the world, in lieu of the underlying systemic racial and ethnic disparities; stemming from sin and iniquity imbedded in the hearts of all fallen human beings, which has been passed from one generation to another. Deception and moral darkness, as well as other chaotic calamities of the heart, has been well documented by the end time prophecies found in the Bible. Many professing believers seem to be surprised by the rapid unfolding of many chaotic events in our present times. It is unwise to despise biblical prophecy. King Salomon wrote: “If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them” (Ecclesiastes 5:8 NKJV).

In these current days of never ending moral decay and confusion in many local communities and throughout the world, all the members of the body of Christ, His church, are being challenged by the Lord to come together spiritually in one accord, not being part of temporal and deceiving man-made agendas and strategies, which propose artificial short term solutions to these long standing, disparate and systemic injustices brought by sin. Yet the schemes of this satanic deception is being revealed to all believers by the Holy Spirit, sustained by the prophetic word found in the Bible. In lieu of these deceiving schemes in our natural realm, with true humbleness we have been spiritually burdened - by the Holy Spirit - to put together 120 biblical essays, directed to the born again saints in the body of Christ, which we expect will bring spiritual light and renewed divine understanding of the Lord’s absolute truth so we may overcome all satanic strategies set against us to make us stumble, fall and sin.  The New Testament proposes to all believers to watch their lives and biblical doctrines closely in order to save themselves and those who hear them (1 Timothy 4:16 NKJV).

Our core and main responsibility as believers in Christ, while sojourners in this fallen world, is not trying to fix the wrongs of a fallen society but to be ambassadors of Christ and ministers of reconciliation of our Lord, witnessing His gospel message of mercy, love and reconciliation to unsaved unbelievers, whom the Lord is offering salvation and eternal life. As we reflect and meditate in the sound biblical doctrines retrieved from the bible and found on these letters and essays, we may best live spiritually wiser and whole before the Lord while sharing with others the true biblical hope we have in Christ our Lord. Witnessing Jesus and His message to all sinners is the primary ministry mission of all the members of His Church. Let us not put our trust in kings and rulers, nor in a son of man that cannot help us; even when they die their spirits depart and return to the earth, perishing their plans on that day too. Yet happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God (Psalm 146:3-5).

As Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus, we also prayerfully ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give all born again believers the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that all of us may know Him better, with enlightened hearts, so we may understand the hope to which He has called us, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His great power for us who believe; that same power He exerted in Jesus to raise Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, while placing all things under His feet and appointed Him to be the head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way (Ephesians 1:17-23 NKJV).
